Overview

OpenAI introduces a new generation of apps that can be used directly inside ChatGPT conversations. These apps fit naturally into chat, can be discovered when ChatGPT suggests them at the right time, or called by name. They respond to natural language and include interactive interfaces that work right in the chat. The Apps SDK is built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and is available in preview for developers.
